About us

  • Diane Tomasso

Diane Tomasso is a retired historic preservation consultant and advocate. She is part of a dedicated group of friends, artists and associates who are joining together to create a new educational facility for the book arts.

  • Doug Sorenson

Doug Sorenson and Ray Tomasso were close friends who shared many interests including letterpress printing. They attended a number of Hamilton Wood Type Wayzgooses together, collecting antique printing equipment along the way. Their last major field trip helped save the last of the letterpress equipment of the St. Edwards Advance newspaper office in Nebraska. Since Ray’s death, Doug has found new homes for the many tools, equipment and supplies peripheral to Ray’s core work, helping position the studio for its new use as a collaborative educational facility. He maintains his own letterpress shop at his home in Littleton.

  • Volunteers

We wish to thank the volunteers and supporters who have supported our journey to reopening the studio in this new capacity. We could not have done it without your guidance, support and creative ideas.
